Sheridan Lifts needed a new website to reflect and showcase their growth as one of the leading companies in the industry.
Their existing site was built in the correct way from an SEO and structure point of view, so one of the main requirements from the new website was that it needed to be as SEO-friendly as possible, so that their SEO partner could run their campaigns more effectively.
With nationwide coverage and clients such as; Kellogs, Nestle and Manchester City Council, there were a lot of case studies that needed to be given a position of prominence on the new website.
We chose WordPress as the CMS for this project as it allows the client to edit and update the content easily and also makes it easy for the SEO team to work on the site to achieve their campaign targets.
Mobile and Desktop designs were produced for all pages and after discussions, feedback and alterations, they were signed off and moved into development to be turned into a custom WordPress theme.
In the admin panel we created custom post types for case studies and products to make them easy to manage and update.
On the front-end we categorised the different lifts by both type and industry application, and also added search functionality so that users can find information on the exact lift that they will need.
We also replaced the usual image banner at the top of the homepage with an embedded video that showcases every aspect of Sheridan Lift’s business, from lift design to maintenance and technical support.
